Young Minds Peer Group (YMPG) is a non-profit organisation that actively involves the community in the battle against, teenage pregnancy, substance abuse, skills shortage and human abuse in a way that is appealing to them. YMPG assists parents to keep the lines of communication open between them and their children, and mobilises young people to become powerful ‘Agents of change’. Programmes

The long-term vision of YMPG is to provide universal affordable access to quality early learning services. With your assistance we believe we can reduce the number of learners who dropout from school by giving them a foundation of confidence and independence. Increasingly it has been established that primary level is considered to be a prerequisite for readiness in later school success. Children, who are not well prepared from a primary level, often do not make it at secondary and tertiary level.

Young Minds Spelling Championship

The YMSC Programme gives learners the opportunity to learn and better understand the meaning of English words. It also helps learners to realize the importance of making the schoolwork their number one priority. We have teamed up with SABC Education to ensure effective control, management, monitoring and control of the programme.
